It is the kind of product that is useful to have at home at all times.
A true “multi-purpose” cream, it is particularly suited to dry skin, helping to moisturise and protect delicate skin prone to itching and discomfort, including skin affected by eczema or areas requiring extra care during herpes outbreaks.
What makes this cream particularly interesting is not just one individual “star” ingredient — tea tree oil, derived from Melaleuca alternifolia of the Myrtaceae family — but rather the way the entire formula has been constructed.
At its heart is a complex of essential oils from plants of the Melaleuca genus, complemented by lemon essential oil. Around this active botanical core sits a rich emollient, soothing and antioxidant base.
This approach is quite different from that of many conventional tea tree products, which tend to focus primarily on drying, purifying and creating an immediate sensation of freshness. Here, the aim is broader: to support problem-prone, itchy skin without stripping away its natural lipids or leaving it feeling excessively dry and tight.
What makes this cream different from many modern skincare products
If we compare its formulation philosophy, for example, with the popular approach taken by many South Korean skincare products, the difference is clear.
A large number of contemporary Korean products for sensitive and blemish-prone skin focus on exceptionally gentle formulas built around humectants, ceramides, panthenol, centella asiatica, hyaluronic acid and barrier repair, often with minimal or no essential oils.
This cream takes a different approach.
It combines the traditional phytotherapeutic use of essential oils with a modern emulsion base. Rather than avoiding highly aromatic botanical ingredients, it makes them an important part of the formula, while surrounding them with nourishing oils, aloe vera, chamomile, centella and antioxidants.
For this reason, it is better described as an active, functional cream than as a neutral everyday moisturiser.

1. The main botanical active group: tea tree, cajeput and niaouli
The active concept of the cream is built around several essential oils from the myrtle family.
Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil — Tea Tree Essential Oil
This is the most recognisable ingredient in the complex. It is particularly valued in formulations for skin prone to blemishes, excess oiliness, unwanted odour and discomfort. Tea tree oil is best known for its antimicrobial and purifying properties.
In this cream, however, it does not work alone.
Melaleuca Leucadendron Cajuputi Leaf Oil — Cajeput Oil
A botanical ingredient closely related to tea tree, cajeput contributes additional purifying, refreshing and deodorising properties. It is especially well suited to products intended for areas where a feeling of cleanliness and odour control is important.
Melaleuca Viridiflora Leaf Oil — Niaouli Oil
Another member of the Melaleuca genus, niaouli is used in cosmetic formulations as an aromatic and purifying ingredient and fits naturally into products designed for skin requiring targeted care.
Citrus Limon Peel Oil — Lemon Essential Oil
Lemon oil supports the overall fresh and purifying character of the formula while enhancing the sensation of cleanliness.
Together, these ingredients create far more than simply a “tea tree cream”. They form a complex of essential oils with a pronounced purifying and deodorising character.
This group largely defines the personality of the product.
Just as importantly, these essential oils are not placed in a lightweight alcohol-based or gel formula. They are surrounded by a wide range of lipids and emollients, which significantly changes how the product feels on the skin.
2. The emollient group: helping protect the skin from excessive dryness
One of the strongest aspects of the formula is its rich lipid base.
It includes Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, sweet almond oil, shea butter, castor oil, rosehip oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil and rice bran oil, alongside a number of cosmetic emollients and fatty alcohols.
These ingredients help balance the action of the essential oils.
Sweet almond oil softens the skin and improves overall comfort.
Shea butter creates a richer, more protective base and helps reduce excessive moisture loss.
Castor oil provides additional softness and forms a protective layer on the skin.
Rosehip oil supplies valuable lipids and works particularly well in formulas designed to support the skin and its natural recovery processes.
Safflower oil, sunflower oil and rice bran oil provide additional fatty acids and contribute to the cream’s overall softening effect.
Also worth noting are Cetearyl Alcohol and Cetyl Alcohol. Despite the word “alcohol”, these are not the types of alcohol associated with harsh degreasing or drying of the skin. They are fatty alcohols widely used in creams to improve texture, softness and the feeling of protection.
The result is an important balance: the essential oil complex provides the purifying and refreshing aspect of the formula, while the lipid-rich base prevents the cream from becoming a typically harsh, drying tea tree treatment.
3. The soothing group: aloe vera, chamomile and centella
The next layer of the formula consists of ingredients focused on skin comfort.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice — Aloe Vera Juice
Appearing relatively high in the ingredient list, aloe vera serves several functions. It helps support hydration and can reduce the sensation of discomfort.
Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract — Chamomile Extract
A classic ingredient in soothing cosmetic formulas. It is particularly appropriate here as a balancing element alongside the intensive essential oil complex.
Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract — Centella Asiatica Extract
One of the most interesting ingredients in the formula from a skin-support perspective. Centella is widely used in cosmetics developed for sensitive, irritated or compromised skin requiring restorative care.
The cream also contains glycerin, which helps attract and retain water, supporting a healthy level of skin hydration.
The formula therefore does not follow the simplistic principle of “degrease and dry as much as possible”. Instead, it takes a more layered approach:

4. A dedicated antioxidant complex
Another interesting feature of the cream is its wide range of botanical ingredients with antioxidant and supportive properties.
One of the most notable is Lycium Barbarum Fruit Extract — Goji Berry Extract.
Goji berries contain a range of plant polysaccharides and antioxidant compounds. In skincare, their role is primarily to help support the skin against oxidative stress. It is not the central active ingredient in the cream, but it is a valuable addition to the overall protective concept.
Alongside it is Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract — Rosemary Extract. This provides antioxidant support and also helps protect the botanical oils within the formula from oxidation.
Rosa Moschata Seed Oil — Rosehip Oil combines both lipid-rich and antioxidant properties.
Oryza Sativa Bran Oil — Rice Bran Oil also naturally contains antioxidant compounds.
